Working in a new collaboration with landscape architects Drei Eins Faller we are delighted to have won first prize in the urban design competition for the “Innovationsquartier Straßenäcker” in Erlenbach. Forseen is an innovative mixed-use neighbourhood with space for living, working, producing creating and innovating. We look forward to developing the project further with the Town of Erlenbach.
Together with urbanegestalt, JOTT has won 2nd prize in the workshop/competition for an innovative new urban quarter as a part of the Stuttgart IBA27 at the Neckarspinnerei in Wendlingen. Working carefully with the historic building ensemble to generate a new and distinct urban identity, the project’s focus is the development of a new typology and urban structure for the next generation of industry and innovation.
As part of the work on Fürstenfeldbruck’s new Creative Quarter JOTT has completed a study for the initiation the areas transformation through meanwhile uses and activities. The study is part research document identifying relevant reference projects from around Europe, and part strategy document, identifying locations for activities and changes as one-off instigators, short-term and medium-term interventions. Based on our "‘Rahmenplan’ for the IBA27 in Winnenden JOTT has completed a Typoliogy Study for the new productive quarter. The document outlines the aims, strategies and challenges for a variety of innovative mixed-use typologies throughout the masterplan, it also identifies relevant best-practice examples from projects througout europe. Following their prize in the strategic urban design competition JOTT have been invited to take part in a detailed design competition for the new buildings on the campus of the Waldorfschule Berlin-Mitte. They are collaborating with CKRS Architektengesellschaft mbH and Henningsen Landschaftsarchitekten PartG mbB.
